Noriko Nagato, L.Ac. ~ is the owner of Center for Optimum Health & Village Acupuncture. She has over 19 years of experience treating various illnesses using Oriental Medicine including acupuncture and herbal medicine. She treated patients at Eijyukai Hospital in Kanazawa, Japan before coming to the United States. She is a graduate of Meiji Oriental Medical School, Kyoto, Japan and is licensed in both Japan and California.
Anna
Cheung L.Ac. went to school at
Five Branches in Santa Cruz after graduating from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in
biology. She received her acupuncture license in 2003. Anna’s drive to learn
acupuncture more deeply brought her to Village Acupuncture
a few months later.
Sara Blake L.Ac.
graduated from Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine
College in Berkeley, CA in 2008 and received her license to practice acupuncture in 2009. Having
worked at Village Acupuncture since she was sixteen, Sara already knew she
wanted to study with Noriko after she graduated.
Brook
Rivera, L.M.T.
Brook Rivera has grown up in
the health field, being a daughter of a massage therapist and having worked in
the health field for 15 years with Chiropractors, Naturopaths, Homeopaths,
Acupuncturists, and Body Workers. She, herself, is a Licensed
Massage Therapist in both Texas and California,
receiving her primary training through the renowned Lauterstein-Conway School of
Massage in Austin, Texas. Additionally, she has completed all four levels
of Touch for Health with Dr.
John L. Martin and is
trained in Table-Thai Massage and Deep Tissue. Her massage style
incorporates these methods with Swedish and Body Mobilization Techniques, in
order to offer the most effective treatment for the client’s ailments or
relaxation, as may be required.

Maggie Borowiak, C.M.T. ~ received her certification as a massage therapist in 1987. She has developed an intuitive, nurturing massage which integrates effleurage, acupressure, Reiki, stretching and deep tissue work.
Natalie Mixon, C.M.T. ~ was certified as a massage therapist in
1996. Since that time she has continued her education in deep tissue, sports
massage and CranioSacral therapy. "My goal is to get my clients to their health
goal as quickly as possible and then help them maintain it." She likes to blend
styles to suit each individual with with a massage session that is beneficial
for them.
Debi Hartwick-Lucas, C.M.T. ~ with over eight years of experience, is familiar with many different massage techniques which she combines to meet the individual needs of each client with great results.
